Shelcal 500 is a calcium and vitamin D3 tablet. It promotes bone health and reduces the risk of fractures in people with low calcium and vitamin D levels. It is used to treat bone diseases such as osteomalacia and osteoporosis, in which the bones become weak and brittle.
How should I take Shelcal 500 Tablet?
Take Shelcal 500 tablet through your mouth (orally) and swallow it whole with a full glass of water or milk. Do not cut, chew or crush the tablet or it may not provide the desired results. There is no best time to take a Shelcal 500 tablet. Take it at the same time everyday preferably with or after a meal. Take the dose as mentioned by your doctor in the prescription.
